Edmundo Tulcanaza

Edmundo Tulcanaza is a mining engineer graduated at University of Chile with a postgraduate program at the Paris School of Mines in Geostatistics and Mine Valuation and an extensive experience in South America.

After working in Peru as a consultant and university lecturer (1974/1976), he spent more than a decade in the U. States working as a Senior mining engineer for Davy McKee Corporation in San Francisco, California (1980/1991). He became later a Manager Director of CODELCO-Chile´s Mineral Resources & Reserves Group (1993/2011).

At present he works as an international consultant with distinctive competencies focused on the certification, valorization, and management of mine assets, auditing and due diligences.

Tulcanaza is a Qualified Competent Person (CRIRSCO) and was the first President of the Chilean Commission for the Qualification of Competencies in Mineral Resources & Reserves. At present Edmundo is the representative of the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards. He is an University lecturer in Certification and Valorization of Mineral Resources.
