Delia Evelina Bruno graduated in Geology at the "Calabria University" in 2001, whit a thesis on shorelines evolution and recent tectonics. She has a PhD in Earth Sciences from "Federico II" Naples University on analysis of landsliding and weathering of crystalline rocks.

After a short period of independent research during wich she was interested in geosites also, since 2008 she' s working at "Water Research Institute" of the "National Research Council" in Bari. The main fields have been: desertification, coastal monitoring and contaminated sites.

Actually, she is Research Fellow and also involved in VIGOR project. In particular, she's carrying out an energy analysis to assess the geothermal potential and the thermal demand of production processes on southern Italy.

Overall, her publications include papers and abstracts published in local and international journals and conferences.
