Alexander Kriz currently studies Petroleum Engineering and Natural Resources at the University of Leoben. He was employed as student researcher with the Chair of Mining Engineering and Mineral Economics. In this position he actively participated in congresses and workshops all over Europe and did several research jobs within mineral policy related projects (eg. ANTAG project issued by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economics)

Besides, Alexander Kriz has nearly a decade of experience in high-tech-journalism and holds the position "Editor-in-Chief" at the german online-magazine PCDAILY.de as well as the position "Freelance Journalist" at the Austrian newspaper "Die Presse".
